Assen
2008-06-27
Thursday freepractice whent well with lower laptimes then those set
by us here last year.
On the friday afternoon second qualifying session we again managed 11th
place.
The problems with the fast engine is not fixable away from home, standard
engine for the race again, not ideal.
Update from saturday, raceday.
125 and 250 gp had some rain but when we raced after motogp the track
was dry.
A good start and we held 11th place most of the laps.
During the last laps we past a competitor and finished in 10th spot.
The next race is in two weeks time, back at Sachenring and togheter
with MotoGP again.

Sachenring
2008-06-21
This week we are at the Sachenring for round 2 and 3 of the Superside
champinship,
a sprintrace on saturday and the goldrace on sunday.
We had some problems with the electronics and had to swap for a standard
engine before gualifying,
we managed to get 11 place, not bad concerning that we have some 20
horsepower less in that engine.
Sprintrace:
The 11 lap sprintrace started dry but on the second lap it started to
rain, and during the first lap a part came loose on
a competitors sidecar and hit Mika, our passanger, on the foot, the
race was stopped on lap 7 due to the rain,
we then held 12th spot.
After a restart on rain tires we had a good flow, Mika ignored the pain
and we finished in 10th place.
Race 2,
Same starting position and we got a good start.
During the first laps we held 10 place, dropped to 12th but got back
to 11th.
As we were in striking position for 10th a fuel hose broke and we had
another DNF.

Donington
2008-05-28
On May 25th the first round of the 2oo8 Superside world championship
was held at Donington Park.
As expected the weather was full of surprises and practice and qualifying
was held in dry conditions,
but just in time for race day it started raining.
Everthing whent as planned during the weekend and we qualified for 13th
position.
In the race we initially was in 9th position but in the extremely slippery
conditions we took no greater risks
and setled for a pace around 11th spot.
Unfortunately a rodd in the rear wheel upright broke a few laps from
the end and the race was over for us.

Winter
practice
2008-04-14
During the past week we were at Val de vienne in France for some testing.
Testing of the chassie uppdates, new aerodynamics and new engine specs
whent well.
Laptimes were also satisfying and the test be called a good start to
the years.

The english
section hasent been updated that often, as you can see,
but we are working plans for this years racing.

20062006-07-05
Since the last update of this english section a lot of
things have happend.
Petter is now a permanent rider for the same team he rode in last year.
Unfortunately he had a big highsider crash at the first race and broke
eight bones in his left foot.
He aims to be back on the bike bofore the end of the summer, endurance
team mates
Mikael Hägerström and Kim Jensen won the second race and we
plan nothing else but the title.
Due to lack of founds Johan and Mika will not race the worldchampionship,
but the German IDM series is very competetive and alot more affordable.
They started the year a win in the finnish championship, then a ninth
place
at Lauzitsring and this past weekend a DNF due to enginefaliure at Nürburgring. |

We now work alot with preparations for this years racing.
Machine improvements and sponsors take most of the time now.
A new Yamaha R1 is the latest bike in the team, and ohans Sidecar is
beeing updated on all fronts.
A new calender will be ready soon, Johan and Mika will race in Superside
and
Petter is working on a plan to race endurance in europe.

ERF
FINAL2005-10-19
Last round of the nordic endurance
championship (ERF) at Knutstorp.
We had some injured riders and it was up to me and teammate Mikael Hägerström.
Starting from pole and right away the battle was between us and seriesleadar
team Skjern-mc with mutiple swedish champion Christer Miinin.
We made a good race and finished in second place.
Race and series victory went to Skjern-mc, we us in thrid spot in the
series.
A big Thank you to Mikael Hägerström, Kim Jensen and Peter Söderholm
for this very enjoyable year.
My plans for ör 2006 are to go for the Endurance title, and do a
few races in europe, sprint and Endurance.

SUPERSIDE
ASSEN2005-09-20
At Assen we again had some engine
problems.
The no1 engine was retired after a minor problem that could not be fixed
away from home.
It was replaced by a standard engine, and even though it was however still
possible to lower the laptimes,
Johan and Mika´s potential was a lot higher than their 26th qualifying
spot.
Assen is a very fast track and when you give away 30-40bhp its hard work.
Tha race was run at worldsuperbike round at Assen, with perfect weather
and a big crowd.
A good effort in the race resulted in 22nd position.
This was the last sidecar race for the team this year.

SIDECAR EC2005-08-22
During the last weeks ther have been five Sidecar races
in the european championship.
Johan and Mika have been to all of them, rusults as follow:
Karlskoga: rain and an oilspill from a competitor dramaticaly reduced
Johan´s vicibility, 5th place.
Oschersleben race1: no start due to gearbox breaking down.
Oschersleben race2: 5th place.
Schleiz
race1: no start due to bent valve.
Schleiz race2: no start due to broken steering.
Its a known fact that Lady luck isnt always with you in racing, but
sometimes there is no end to the problems.
We now perapare for Assen Superside.

ENDURANCE NORWAY2005-07-18
This endurance race was held at the fantastic Mo I Rana
track in northen Norway.
Petter and his team mates Mikael Hägerström and Kim Jensen
Petter finished in third spot,
only beaten by Christer Miinin and his team.
We qualfied third and during most of the race we keept going for third
to second in this ten hour event.
With no technical problems at all and second place
we are satisfied with the result, Miinin seems unbeatable.

SUPERSIDE2005-06-23
Johan and Mika finished in 19th place at their Superside
debut.
Unfortunately they had technical problems during the whole weekend and
had to build a new engine for sunday.
They made a good start but had a small collision on the first lap, resulting
in a stuck throttle.
Back to the pits and a quick checkup and it worked perfect during the
remaining laps.
The goal for the race was to qualify, and despite minimal practise and
lots of technical problems
we achieved that with margin.
We will now spend more time on the dynobench to find some 15bhp extra,
clearly needed to match the speed of the Superside regulars.

SUPERSIDE2005-06-13
Next weekend Johan and Mika will start their first worldchampionship
superside race on the German Nürburgring track.
In preparation they have been in Finland and at the Gelleråstrack
in Sweden.
The sidecar has updated chassie, engine and aerodynamics for this year.

ENDURANCE2005-05-21
Nu har vi kört två tävlingar i ERF serien.
Den första tävlingen gick den 23 April på Falkenbergsmotorbana.
Vi kom där på andra plats, vilket vi va hyffsat nöjda
med.
Andra deltävlingen på Anderstorp fylldes av en del tekniska
problem
och misstag av oss gällande teknik och taktik, vi slutatde på
en sjunde plats.
Vi ligger nu fyra i serien och siktar som sämst på andraplatsen
totalt.

ERF
TEST 2005-04-21
Under ett kort regningt pass testade jag ERF teamets Yamaha
R1 förra veckan.
Hojan gick mkt fint och va lättkörd, även de Pirelli däck
vi åker på funkade fint.
Tyvärr gjorde detta test inte gott på en förkylning bättre,
den muterade till influensa och helgens tävling hänger löst
för min del.

ERF2005-04-09
Under 2005 kommer jag att köra ERF tillsammans med
team Allt i däck.
Detta innebär lite mindre tid bakom styret gemfört med 2004,
men de
gånger jag kommer att köra är det tillsammans med mycket
snabba och
erfarna förare. Vi siktar enbart på totalvinst i år.
Utöver ERF ska jag ägna året åt att tidigt förbereda
mig för 2006 och
köra utvalda solo-tävlingar.
Inom några dagar ska jag testa på årets hoj, återkommer
efter det.

Buss och Sidecar är i det närmaste färdiga
nu
Bussen får i dagarna ny färskvattentank och ett nytt elsystem.
Johans sidecar är kraftigt modifierad i både chassie, motor
och kåpa.
För min del blir det ERF med ett ännu onämnt team.

Saker och ting börjar falla på sin plats gällande
2005 nu.
Johan skall köra så många tävlingar i vm som budgeten
tillåter med
början på Brands Hatch utanför London den åttonde
Maj.
För mig är inget spikat till 100%, ett flertal alternativ
är på gång.

Våran buss är nu i det närmaste klar, mer bilder kommer
snart.
